CELESTE: space galileo receiver for small satellites

CELESTE “spaCE gaLileo rEceiver for Small saTellitEs” is an industrial research project with the aim of developing an innovative navigation system for small satellites. The outcome of this project will be an advanced prototype that will combine data generated from the GNSS receiver and the Image-based module, in order to improve the PNT solution availability and accuracy, during navigation towards the Moon or other celestial bodies.

WAY4WARD Activities

WAY4WARD is responsible of the full WP5000 line dealing with the design, development and test of the Precise Orbit Determination function of the receiver. Furthermore, WAY4WARD will bring in the project the internally developed tool GOOD Sim (GNSS Outer Orbits Data Simulator) to support the CELESTE activities.
